When we decided it was time to rebrand YAP Global’s identity, we knew it wasn’t just about changing a logo or updating a colour palette. It was about something bigger — reintroducing ourselves to the world.

Since 2017, we’ve been yapping — long before it was cool, long before “Yap” became a Word of the Year finalist.

We’ve helped bold voices in blockchain, fintech, and emerging tech find their place on the global stage. And through it all, one thing has never changed: we’re a PR and communications agency built on care, excellence, integrity, value, and a drive to elevate. We’ve spent years amplifying the stories of others.
Now, it’s time to tell a little more of our own.

The Story in a Single Letter

For this reintroduction, we knew it couldn’t just be about visuals. It had to capture who we are at our core.

Our new “Y” does just that.
Part apostrophe, part speech mark, all heart — it’s a small but powerful symbol of what we do every day.
Not just telling stories, but creating conversations.
Not just saying something, but sparking something.

This simple mark holds the moment where a story finds its audience — and something bigger begins.

Finding Ourselves in the Details

When we started digging into what makes YAP Global…well, YAP Global, we kept coming back to one word: connection.

Connection between stories and audiences.
Between tradition and innovation.
Between cultures, ideas, and people.

That search for connection led us to something personal: the heritage of our founder, Samantha Yap. Her Malay and Indonesian roots pointed us to the vibrant, intricate world of Peranakan tiles — bold, detailed, timeless designs that felt instantly right.Like the work we believe in.
Like the global, multicultural team we’ve built.
Like the way great storytelling weaves different voices into something unforgettable.

Same Yappers, New Threads

The Peranakan patterns now woven into our brand aren’t just beautiful — they’re a reminder that the best stories are built on diversity, craft, and a little bit of magic.

No matter where you start, your story can go everywhere.Today, our team spans continents, cultures, and backgrounds.
But at our core, we’re still the same Yappers: amplifying stories, sparking discourse, and shaping narratives that last.
